Here I am Lord, I come to do your will. But Lord, will I give up my life like the Martyrs? (I had visited the relics of St John Brebuef and the Canadian Martyrs as well as St Kateri Tekawitha.) I would like to think so, but would I? Why am I afraid? Is death really nothing more than a beautiful beginning? If I live for You, I must die for You. Does it really matter how?
