I was contemplating today's readings About prayer ... Do I really give my all when I pray, that is: my heart, my desire out of love, the intention of speaking with Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit? I'm looking at the wanderings of my heart, my inconsistencies of following through with my intentions as if my time with my Lord is just a passing friendship. Please forgive me my Lord, my Savior, my King and my God!
“Truly, truly: I am the God of mercy and of justice. I listen with an ear bent towards all of My children when they utter My name from their heart: ALL of My children! My justice and mercy gives only what is good and holy. It is true that I listen and answer, but My greatest joy is when the petition is crowned with the desire that My will be done over and above their’s. Trust in My mercy, love and justice, as I listen to all the petitions of your heart: known or unknown, all of which causes Me to love you most tenderly and I respond as your loving Father, your loving Brother, your loving Friend.”
