Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

What grace, what grace it is to behold the Cross! What paradox!...an instrument of torture and death which brings joy and life. What an injustice done to the Just One, but from which flowed love and atonement... an intersection of 2 limbs, crude in design, but efficient in purpose which turns into a paradoxical thing of beauty, forever symbolizing ultimate love... the Cross.

O Lord, mocked and scorned, have mercy on us. Oh my Jesus, tortured for my sins, have mercy on me. Jesus, my Lord, make my heart a living Tabernacle for You, adorned with your Precious Blood. Nail your heart to mine so that we may suffer and love as one. Amen
