Lord, why is it that in the stillness we hear you the loudest? Why is it in the natural beauty of nature that our stress decreases, our hearts rate slows? Just facetious questions Lord. I know the answer...

“You know the story of the Tower of Babel? I created mankind to subdue the earth and all that is in it. They were to subdue it while in relationship with Me, the Master Architect. Living with total harmony with My Will, a beautiful world would have been wrought by the works of your hands, Mankind! But instead, you have tried to create a world without Me, surrendering to the work of pride rather than the work of love, and therefore creating your own towers of Babel: the highest, the largest, the fanciest. No matter how visually beautiful or stimulating the edifice or city is, without Me it is only dust, and so few edifices are truly built to glorify Me. On the other hand, the mountains, the heavens, the plains, the birds and all living creatures, constantly sing out their praise to Me unimpeded because I have created them out of love, for you. The wind in the trees sings its song of love from Me to you. The colours of the morning and evening paints the sky with love from Me to you. The deep blue of the sky reflects the colour of My Mother's eyes; the white of the snow her purity; the warmth of the sun, her and My love for you. Works created out of love, whether from man or your God, reflect Me and so a bit of heaven is seen and felt by the soul and thus peace enters. Be like the birds and all living creatures: they never stop praising Me no matter what they do. Follow their example and offer Me praise and thanksgiving at all times, in all things, and you will be walking in peace!”
