Within the whisperings of your soul, I speak… September 9, 2025
After Adoration...
Oh Lord, you know me, my wandering heart, my inconsistent faith, but you also know my desire to follow you...please strengthen my desire and lead me...
“It is within the whisperings of your soul where My heart speaks to your heart. Therefore, you can see why the distractions and noise of the world interfere so much with hearing My voice. The words which I have been giving you these past years about stillness is key: be still, be small, be Mine.
Within this small phrase is is a multitude of wisdom: Firstly, be Mine... Notice the Angel's words at My birth: “Peace to people of goodwill...” I have given you, all My children from Adam forward, the great gift of free will. I have given it as well to all of My angels. Lucifer, the one who once was the most beautiful Angel, freely chose to go against Me, as did Adam and Eve through the cunning of this deceiver. Fallen humans follow that same path and are led into sin. The recourse? Give Me your will. Yes, freely choose Me over yourselves. Strive to maintain that attitude and cleanse yourself when you fall: through Confession. Yes, you have lost the perfection of awareness as was given to your first parents: you are torn between your ego and My invitation to allow Me to rule you. That is why I sent a Saviour, the Word, to save you from yourselves, to give you the healing anointing through the Sacrament of Confession so as to turn once more to Me, and also the lifeblood of the God-man to sustain and nourish you through the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Turn your eyes, heart and will towards Me.
Secondly: be small...You are all My beloved children and I am your God. I have brought you all into son-ship through Baptism. It is acknowledging that without Me you are nothing that humility is born. It is My great love and mercy that extends to all My creation, especially to My beloved children whom I call into full fellowship with Me beyond what even the angels are given. That is Grace. The greater the humility, the greater the Grace given because humility is the door to Grace. My Mother, patterned after Me in My uncreated thought before the world was even created, was called in time, the Woman: Full of Grace. Why? She was perfect in her humility, the great grace of Her Immaculate Conception. Because of this perfection, she was therefore full of grace: not one space in her Will was turned to herself alone. Follow the example of Her life.
Finally, be still... How can one readily hear My whisperings within the soul unless there is first stillness within it? How many times in My ministry did I have to escape into solitude to pray? It is through these whisperings of the soul where I entice you, encourage you to draw nearer to Me and illuminate your understanding of Me, even of My children who yet do not know of Me.
So, place upon your heart the desire to know Me, love Me and serve Me as the Catechism instructs. You are therefore offering Me your will and you come to know My Peace as the Angels had foretold. I then, within the stillness and the silence of your heart, instruct you in My ways and illuminate My teachings to you. Be assured then, as you continue to strive to follow the narrow way, and in humility and silence listen to Me, that I am yours and you are Mine. Ask for the grace daily to become more entwined with Me and for the grace to never let Me go because I will never let you go! I await with great joy and eagerness the final beat of your heart which announces your final choice: in your Yes, which brings you forever into My arms, or I will suffer the great pain and weep because you had the choice but desired Me not and will be forever lost. Follow now the whisperings of Me within your heart and soul, which leads to peace: My Peace, so that we become one. Shalom!”
