You are walking through darkness, looking for light… August 11, 2025

Enough Lord, enough! I am tired out! I feel constricted and worn... I feel immobilized... please undo this knot that seems to be tying me up. Annihilate the dark spirit who seems to stop me from advancing! Grant me peace. You said to reach out to you! Here I am Lord! Here's my hand! Take it, please!

“You are walking through darkness, looking for light. Those dragonflies that inhabited your lake each spring? As the nymphs climbed out from the water and before they broke free of the chrysalis, they too felt trapped but strove forward in the struggle until they broke free. They emerged and sat in the warmth of the sun until their wings dried and unfolded and they flew off into the blue depths of the sky. You are in the process of shedding your old self and you are rebelling. That is: it is a struggle between your old will which protects your ego and your new will which seeks to subdue your ego and hand itself over to Me. Satan is trying to dissuade you from this struggle, but struggle you must in order to break free from your old self. You will know when you have emerged and then with thankfulness, you will sit in front of Me, the Son, as you bask in My warmth and then your wings, given to you in baptism in order to fly to Me, will unfold as My graces firm and steady them. Once they are ready, your wings, that is your soul, freed from your ego, will fly unfettered to Me to be utterly surrounded by Me: your will, enclosed within Mine.”

Please Lord, I pray for perseverance to block out the lies of Satan...
