Allow me to lead you into tomorrow... February 24th, 2026
In front of the Blessed Sacrament...
Lord, what you will, I will...
I feel my blood pressure rise while I ponder this...Lord, the truth is that many times I'm tired of waiting for Your will to catch up with mine; that I want to jump ahead and not wait for the outcome or to do what You desire me to do. I know that it is a lie, and when I live that lie I miss the moment, the now, to be with You, to live You. Grant me the grace of total surrender this Lent and awaken in me those moments when I want my will to be done more than Yours so that I may battle it...
“Oh anxious one! Quell your thoughts! They race like a horse upon open pastures! I understand and appreciate all that you wish to do for Me, but I ask of you this instead: take time with Me in silence: still your tongue, still your thoughts. Recline with Me, your head upon My heart as My apostle John did. Unite yourself with Me that way daily, so that when you leave here you carry Me with you. Rather, the greater truth would be this: that I carry you as we proceed out into the world, your head still resting upon My Heart, living your day moment by moment, minute by minute, you: always united to Me. Thus it does not matter what you are doing, whether great or small, but that we are doing it together: you and I, and thus saving souls together. Live simply... Love deeply... Love always... Let My Heart and Will be your magnet, your light, your end. Thus your day, walking with Me, will be transformed and My Will, will be done through you and you will accomplish all that I have planned for you, for I have arranged each day of your life already for that purpose. All you have to do is unite yourself to Me. Surrender your will and allow Me to lead you into tomorrow... I shall give you all the strength and perseverance you need to face all that confronts you: all the troubles that you face, all the temptations that will surround you, all the battles that you will be waging. Even if you were to face all of hell itself, I will be there, because you are Mine. Peace.”
