Oh my Jesus... I say I have committed my life to you but I don't feel that I go on with my life without really tapping into the desired intimacy that I wish, which You have revealed to me through situations throughout my life. I seem more intrigued in following mountain passes then following the direction of your words. Fall on me, Spirit of God, so that I may truly accomplish what You have asked me to do, to take that time to persevere and follow You, my Lord and my God...
“Oh my little one, how you squeeze me into the small moments of your day! And how hard you are on yourself!! I have given you the great gift of time. Sometimes life happens, and the time seems short. When you sit before a sunrise or sunset, how long do do you sit? Only for a second to absorb the beautiful colours, the radiant hues, the subtle changes as the white light reflects into the brilliant colours of the spectrum? Sometimes, yes? If you took only that second, yes you could, like taking a snapshot, perceive that beauty in a passing way. But could you really comprehend the fullness of it, the changing depth of its’ beauty, the magnitude of the changes, the mystery of its’ depth? How often as a child, and still, and for how long, have you gazed upon the myriad of colours taken from the pallet of my Love in the sunrise or sunset? As a child, how often have you desired to walk within the colours of the sky, to taste the clouds, to feel their softness, to step from star to star to see how far you could see? How many times, and for how long have you laid on your back in the soft grass and stared up at the clear night sky, contemplating its’ vastness and beauty, although at that time it wasn't fully formed in your mind, your heart or in your soul that it was Me smiling at you. You took that breadth of time in order to absorb the beauty. So when you come before Me in prayer and in My Sacrament, gaze upon Me that same way: in the fullness of My Beauty and My Love and Joy looking at you, looking at Me. If the time is short or long, I see your heart. Do not be led astray by the tempter, suggesting to your emotions that it is a chore, or not enough.
Go deeper when you are able. Follow this invitation. Come... in humility, simply rest upon My heart and relax. Enjoy the beauty that you see. Still your voice. Simply be with Me and contemplate the changing depths and hues of My colours, of the Infinite constellations of love within My heart, of the changing face of the scenic beauty that follows you through your life: Me walking with you and seeing My love for you. Thank My Father for the joy He has given you of seeing the beauty in the works of His hands in all things.
Now, in this moment, short or long: in the same way as the sunlight is reflected from a high mountain, the shadows as they move across the face of the them and changes the texture of the landscape, the same way when you sit and watch the colours of the sunset and the sunrise radiate across the horizon, changing the intensity, changing the depths of joy as you perceive the handy-works of your God: in that same way, sit with Me and renew your dedication to Me. Do not be afraid of going deeper in contemplation, of following the adventures with Me through the landscape of your mind, surveying My ever-changing, ever-new Beauty and asking Me questions: I will surely answer you. I am the Eternal One. I am the Merciful One. I am all Beauty. I am your Jesus and I desire all hearts to be Mine. Remember, each and every moment of time that you give to Me, short or long, I thank you and love you for. Life happens...step by step. The more you contemplate Me and my Love in humility, the more you are able to give to others, as your joy will then overflow that much more into the hearts of others. They will then see My hand, My beauty, hear My voice and see My joy and love for them within their own hearts.
