Quench your thirst in the Holy Spirit… February 5, 2026
During Adoration
Oh Lord, why do I fight you so much? Why does it seem so hard to take time with you? Forgive me for my insolence, my silence when I need to speak of You, my procrastination to come before You. Heal me of my pride. Here I am Lord. I want to do Your will. What opportunities did I miss, the graces that I thwarted? Please allow me to accomplish that which You have desired me to do...
“A hot arid wind, full of dust, blows through many hearts and souls. It is the breath of Satan, seeking to dry out the fervour of my people. You must quench your thirst with the Holy Spirit, through the Sacraments given to you through My Blood. The dryness that you have experienced is a result of tepidness in your offering to Me. Satan's desire is for you to give up, but you have the ability to turn the tables. It is in those dry spells, those arid places, where great graces can be found and souls saved. Take those times and offer your parched feelings to Me as a sacrifice of praise. Then with each heavy step, turn back towards Me, persevering in the journey: to refreshment and hope, to life giving waters. Satan's poison is then used as a means to give life to others. Do not delay in your response to this invitation to draw near to Me in your dryness, but surrender wholeheartedly to Me in all things and you will be refreshed in Me. Peace!”
Later...
“I see the desire of your heart: slow and steady... be consistent. Be sure of my Love: I look at the workings of your heart. Ponder this: when feeling alone, have I really left you? When feeling thirsty, have I been the one who has made barren the landscape? When wandering, have I taken away your compass? Look to Me in all the seasons of your life, and all your circumstances and I will let you find Me. It is in your loneliness, your thirst and your wanderings when I watch, hiding Myself as you rediscover the need for My help. But I am always there and I come to you. I know your heart. I let nothing beset you that you cannot handle when I am holding you close to Me. Persevere. You never walk alone for I walk with you. Be not afraid!”
